Very interesting book written by a great author.
Mr. Brown by virtue of his background in life was the perfect person to write about the trials and torment suffered by the Chiltons at the hands of The Center For Biological Diversity in consort with the bureaucrats in the various governmental agencies who made their lives a nightmare. This is a very good read and I recommend it to everyone. I would only hope that those in the radical environmental movement would see fit to read this book and reflect on it and the lessons it brings forth regarding the over zealous methods employed by them to achieve an end that does not need to be achieved. Read this book. You may not be a rancher or a cowboy or a farmer or any other person making a living off of the land that benefits all of us but that does not mean that your property rights will not come under fire next.
Amazing story by one of the great story tellers of our time. Not a unique situation involving manipulation of endangered species and grazing laws to feed the appetite of an ever inflated bureaucracy. Joe Brown is worth checking out. This is how the "west was won."
