Clifford Happy Easter by Norman BridwellAudio version so I am not seeing the colorful pictures.Emily has a dog Clifford. Last year she dyed eggs and he tried to help, the only way he could, by watching.Her dream of dyeing the eggs, Clifford was helping and splash he was all green, then he was all yellow, Emily decorated him with other colors.Sun woke her up on Easter morning and went to hunt for the eggs...I received this book from National Library Service for my BARD (Braille Audio Reading Device).
My grandson enjoyed reading Clifford's Happy Easter book. He can't wait to find out what happens at the end of the story. I would recommend the these books to other friends and family members with children who enjoys reading, and the desire to continue exceling in reading.
Other than Easter egg hunting and painting eggs this book doesn't convey much about Easter but my son (3 1/2) loves the story and Clifford falling into the paint. We've been reading it nightly at his request for weeks!

Although my daughter likes this book, the story is really strange and thrown together. There’s a random dream sequence that makes the reader think that the author just couldn’t be bothered to think of an actual plot.

Cute story about Easter eggs for my child who loves Clifford. This book has some funny parts but also is primarily a dream sequence about colors--not sure my 2 year old "gets" the whole dream aspect but he still enjoys the story about coloring and finding Easter eggs.
