I truly enjoyed this story. Literally could not put it down until I finished the story. Much better characters and well thought out progression of the theme. I am still underwhelmed by the overly detailed sexual pieces. A loves b and they share a sleeping accommodation is sufficient for me. Details can be filled in by my imagination as needed. No I am not a fan or the current state of Harliqen romances being necessary for sales in all books. Color me old fashioned and not all touchy feelly in my literature. Now I can pack up my portable stump and go on to other things.The author has a strong story line and skillfully adds characters as needed to advance the series. Blaze has a winner here.
Well written, well edited, well ebooked followup to Queen Anne's Revenge. A little better if if you've read Queen Anne's Revenge before you read Packmule. Great read for a rainy night. Look forward to the last book (Persephone)NNote: These books are an off-shoot of of Ward's Jessica Keller Chronicles. Also great reads but weightier. (Is that a word?)
